Avri, Age 12

In June of this year our daughter was diagnosed with convergence insufficiency and an eye that turned out. We had no idea at the age of 12, she thought it was normal seeing double all the time. Upon learning this, I called multiple locations that offered VT. Dr. Sanders stood out!  We discussed Avri and set up a consult. From there we felt right at home.  Many thanks go to Dr. Sanders, because of her I was able to get our insurance to cover her as an in network provider. Not only that, but Avri went hard to work to correct her eyes and vision. In 10 short weeks, she was able to go from having ZERO stereopsis (depth perception) to NORMAL stereopsis AND from a prescription that included bifocals, a prism and astigmatism, to only having a small spherical distance prescription. At 18 weeks she was able to get to 20/25 without any glasses and control her eye movements so she didn’t have an eye turn anymore! Avri is ecstatic with the results of her vision therapy and she is growing with confidence. We can’t thank Dr. Sanders enough for helping Avri see her world clearly!
